Solaire is one of the first casinos to open in the so-called "Entertainment City" of the Philippines -- Asia's Las Vegas-like gaming and entertainment complex.  This area is still being developed so expect more to come!  Three more casino hotels are expected to open up next year until 2016. (Massive investments!)

Solaire is perfectly situated along the Bay City area of Paranaque.   The roads are wide and well-paved. The area is uncrowded with buildings yet. It's near the Manila bay that they can take advantage of the view.

We got there during sunset.  It's perfect and very relaxing.

I'm not a really a fan of gambling (because I usually lose!!!).  So we just tried one of the four signature restaurants in the hotel - Finestra, Italian cuisine.  The others are Strip Steakhouse, Red Lantern (Chinese), and Yakumi (Japanese).  All of them except Red Lantern have sea view.  They're all fine dining.

[I used my IPhone for all the pictures.  Resolution is bad. :(  It's just that I feel embarrassed to take pictures using SLR in a hotel/mall without any occasion. :P]

Bay area has a stunning view of the sunset.

"Sunrise paints the sky with pinks and the sunset with peaches"

Lavish chandelier at Solaire. The GROs (Guest Relation Officers. LOL.) are very presentable, tall, and skinny.  Must see!

Btw, there are few areas which are restricted to members.  Get your membership now, just bring a valid  ID. It's free.

At the restaurant - fancy fancy! :)

Finestra has an open kitchen.  Like this!

Handmade pasta and designer pizza.  They're soooo good!

Oh, I love this view.  It's very romantic.

Tip: Make sure to reserve early so you can be seated next to the window.  Kitchen is open for dinner starting 6:30pm.  You can have drinks before that.  :)
