After our stay at Stilts, we headed to Cape Santiago Lighthouse. It's 6 kms away from the resort.  There's a sign from the main road on when to turn right.  This road may be muddy & slippery and it's only one-way.  It's quite an adventure going there.

I read from some blogs that the caretaker is always away.  It's true!  Luckily, we got Mang Junior's cell number from the resort.  His sister works at Stilts.  On Mondays, he's on duty somewhere (eavesdropping!) so try some other day.

Some aswang movie was shot there so the walls of the lighthouse have some creepy mud drawings.

I super envy the Madrigals. They own that beach house with the red roof.  They also built a foot bridge towards the breakwater. damn rich!
