Casa Escondida Anilao Resort
Friday, January 27, 2017I started going to Anilao as a non-diver because I really like its 'chill' ambiance and of course, for its underwater beauty. After few years, I've gained my Open Water scuba diver license (now, advanced) and started to go to Anilao more frequently (at least twice a month!).
I've been to at least 10 different resorts in Anilao, Batangas. From backpacker-friendly resorts to quite fancy ones, each resort has a different charm. And for me, Casa Escondida is just in between.
Two things why I would come back: 1) Really comfortable stay 2) Value for money.
For an overnight stay, it's P3,300 per person (twin sharing). It's already inclusive of 4 buffet meals and a standard room. The resort has lounging areas to relax, dive shop, shower room, conference room, plus it has pool!
So here goes the pictures.
We stayed at the standard room. The size is just enough for two persons. The room is clean, minimalist, modern, and got everything we need. I'm quite impressed of their hotel-like white linens plus we get 4 pillows. Yay!
The bathroom.
Here's the view from inside of the room to outside. The suite rooms gets the sea view, of course! The standard room gets the suite room view. lol!
Our room from the outside. The glass doors are just quite hard to handle.
Dive shop on the left, training pool on the right.
Caution: Kids must wear life vests as the pool is really deep and it's used for dive training.
Outstanding dive shop. Really organized! Friendly staff!
Super nice changing/shower rooms for day-trip warriors. They have the best one in Anilao!
The manager, Mabel showed us around upon our arrival.
Dining Area
Overall, love the place and it's a great resort for divers. It's equipped with the nicest diver facilities in Anilao.
How to get in Casa Escondida?
It's located at Mabini, Anilao, Batangas.
By commute, catch a Batangas City bound bus in Buendia/Cubao (Jam Liner,
Tritran, etc) and get off at Batangas City Bus Terminal. From there,
catch a jeepney to Mabini that will take you to Anilao Port, then
hire a tricycle to bring you to your resort.
By car, waze it! :) Click Google Maps
Safe dive and safe travels!
XOXO
