Wave Boarding and Surfing in Boracay
Monday, January 28, 2013
Looking for a new exciting activity to do in Boracay? Try the flow rider (or wave rider/boarder, whatever you call it!). It's the new attraction in Crown Regency Resort and Convention Center. You can ask the tricycle driver to take you there once you're in Boracay Island (of course!). It's in front of Allied Bank.
Ride the continuous waves on a man-made flow of water!! It was a whole bunch of fun, especially when you do it with your friends. It was very funny actually, especially when you see yourself and your friends lose balance, tumble and fall.
I got a free try of boogie board too!!! It was super fun - safer than the actual ocean waves.
We're supposed to go surfing but we're so late for it. The wave pool only operates until 4 to 5pm.
RATES:
The basic surfing lesson is P1,800 for crown regency guests and P2,200 for walk-ins. It includes instructor's fee, board and rashguard rental. Even if you know how to surf already, the rate is still the same.
The flow rider is P1,500 per hour. You have to line up for your turn, so choose the leanest time. It can be crowded.
Overall, it was a great experience. The staff are great and helpful too!
