El Nido, Palawan Underwater Adventure
Monday, November 19, 2012
What's good about El Nido is that the tour guides are well-educated on how to protect our reefs. They tell you what's prohibited or not. (Although, it would be better to brief the tourist first of do's and dont's before the tour even starts).
One thing that we really need to protect our coral reefs is mooring buoys so the boats will no longer randomly anchor on coral reefs. Imagine if there are hundreds of boats anchoring in the same coral reefs area daily. That's huge damage!! DENR and DOTC, wake up! We need this for sustainable eco-tourism.
Some reminders.. PLEASE READ and share awareness! :)
